Find It Online
You can find calorie-counting programs to run on your computer by going to your favorite Internet search engine and searching for “calorie counting software” or just “calorie counting.” There are web sites specializing in “shareware,” programs that are available free or for very low license fees. Try searching on www.download.com for “calorie counting.” Don’t forget to read the system requirements for the programs before you download and install them. Get the version that will work with your computer and operating system. Software like Personal Trainer One will run on your computer even if you’re not connected to the Internet. Alternatively, you can use an online calorie-counter that doesn’t require any software installation, like the free online calorie-counting program at http://caloriecount.about.com.
